On the Market

FBOs for sale, released only to buyers who can close.

Griffin Towers markets FBOs confidentially. Opportunities are never listed publicly, and details are released under NDA to a qualified group rather than to anyone who asks.

If you acquire aviation assets and would like to see what is coming to market, introduce yourself below.

Who sees them

Every buyer is vetted before anything is released.

An FBO owner engages us on the understanding that their business is not being shopped. That promise is only worth something if the people receiving the material can actually complete a transaction — so the buyer list is built deliberately, and it is short.

Ability to close

Capital that is committed, not conditional.

We look at what has actually been acquired, how those transactions were funded, and whether the equity behind this one is in hand or still being raised.

A buyer who needs to assemble financing after signing is a different risk to a seller than one who does not, and sellers are entitled to know which they are dealing with.

What we look at
  • Transactions completed, and in what role
  • Source and status of the equity
  • Lending relationships already in place
  • Who signs, and what that signature commits
An indication of interest is not the same as an ability to pay.
Airport approval

A buyer the sponsor will actually consent to.

Almost every FBO sits on leased airport land, and almost every lease requires the sponsor’s consent to assign. A buyer the airport will not approve cannot close, however attractive the offer.

Operating history, minimum-standards compliance and how a buyer has conducted itself with other sponsors all carry weight in that decision — so they carry weight with us.

What the sponsor weighs
  • Demonstrated operating experience
  • Record on comparable leaseholds
  • Financial capacity the sponsor can verify
  • Willingness to take on the standing obligations
Consent risk ends more aviation transactions than price does.
The buyer list

Introduce yourself and we will tell you what is coming.

There is no public listing to browse. Opportunities are released to a vetted group, and the way onto that group is a short conversation.

Use the form below and tell us who you are: what you own or operate today, the size and type of acquisition you are looking for, the regions you would consider, and how a purchase would be funded. That is enough for us to verify you and add you to the buyer list for opportunities that fit.

Your interest is held in confidence, exactly as a seller’s is. We do not circulate buyer names and we do not use an inquiry here as a reason to contact you about anything else.
